Question: Does the size of the pond affect how many bullfrogs and salamanders are caught?
Background Information:
Hypothesis: I think that more salamanders and bullfrogs will be caught in the small pond, because there is a much bigger area in the big pond that I can’t reach.
Materials: Buckets, Traps, and a Wet Suit.
Procedure:
1.) Put on a wet suit and get a trap.
2.) Place the trap in the small pond and tie it down.
3.) Repeat step 2 for another spot in the small pond.
4.) Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the big pond.
5.) Wait until the next day and check the traps and record how many bullfrogs and salamanders there are.
6.) Repeat step 5 for 5 days.
7.) Compare how many frogs and salamanders were caught in the small pond to the big pond.
Validity / Errors: 1 of the traps in the big pond wasn’t set right, allowing any organisms inside of it to escape, resulting in 0 catches for that trap for the day.
The ponds may have different terrain in it, resulting in a greater like or dislike for bullfrogs or salamanders.
Safety Concerns: Be careful not to trip or fall in the pond because you could get cut or drown.
Do not touch salamanders or bullfrogs and then put hands in mouth.

I am currently working on getting this site underway. I will be adding bands that I already know, with links to their pages, and if anyone knows any other northwest metal bands, or if you are in one and would like a profile on here, just e-mail me with the information.
